Thomas Richardson was the second child of George Richardson & Elizabeth Storey christened August 7th,1791 at Trimdon, Co Durham.
In 1841 Thomas was living at Sunderland St, Houghton-le-Spring & working as an agricultural labourer. With him was ‘daughter’ Margaret, (20). Also living with them was Thomas Robson, a 25 year old tailor.
There is a marriage for Thomas Robson (born c1817 at Ingleton, father = Richard Rosbson) to Margaret N(H)evison in 1842 in Houghton, her father given as Thomas Richardson. Margaret Nevison was christened October 13th 1816 at Bishop Middleham, Durham the daughter of Catherine Nevison. As yet no marriage has been found for Thomas Richardson.
In 1851 Thomas (age 56) was living at Sunderland Lane, Houghton-le-Spring and working as a cartman. He gave his birth place as old Trimdon & was widowed. With him was son-in-law Thomas Robson , a 34 year old husbandman, & grandson Thomas Robson, aged 9 born at Horsley Hill.
There is a death for Thomas, aged 66, on November 14th, 1857 in Houghton-le-Spring who was buried on November 18th at St Michael & All Angels, Houghton-le-Spring.
